Loving God: Our Place in this World
The Bible says in Genesis 2.18, “It’s not good for the Man to be alone; I’ll make him a helper, a companion” (MSG). We were made for relationships. We were made for connections. There is a universal need to belong. From the moment we’re born, we long for the warmth of loving other people. There’s a desire to belong and to be accepted by other people. There’s a need to connect at the deepest level. The Bible has a word for that—it is called fellowship. This Sunday, we'll be wrapping up our current series of messages, Connecting with God: Finding Your Soul's Path to God, with a look at what it means to use our new-found perspective of connecting with God... for what purpose, to what end.
